Contrasting teachers on divorce.

One thing I would like to have done on my websites is to choose some of the most famous pastors teaching about marriage and divorce. especially on YouTube, in order to contrast

their beliefs with the truth. However this is far more difficult than it appears. I am a pensioner now, I have been a Christian for 47 years. and I have observed that almost all pastors seem

to feel it is almost impossible to just openly repent and admit they made a serious error.

To an extent you can understand this, as many of them did a lot of excellent work

for God, and they think people will hold it against them forever. So when I now try to give examples of well known men claiming to be Pastors and teachers, you can expect them to

later claim they have been simply "misunderstood" not that they have preached heresy. Pastors will sometimes initiate a 20 year plan to do a u-turn and deny they ever said something. but when the evidence is one video on YouTube that is harder to do, so the internet now gives me a unique opportunity to contrast their teachings with mine, and to prove them heretics.

DIVORCE TEACHINGS.

1) Kenneth McDonald. (my teaching) the teaching of this website.

In Luke and Mark Jesus emphatically teaches marriage for believers is for life without exception, just as it does in Romans 7:1-4. In Matthew 5:32 and Matthew 19:9 there is an exception clause for "porneia" where it is not adultery to remarry. This word is rightly interpreted in the KJV bible version as "fornication" which is a premarital sin, such as a woman claiming to be a virgin, but on the marriage bed this is proven to be a lie, for example she is showing (in a state of early pregnancy by another man).  The reason the Greek word porneia should be interpreted as "fornication" is because in these very verses in Matthew Jesus has already discounted adultery as the meaning, as in the presence of all the divorce and remarriage paperwork the divorcee is committing continual adultery, and by this very repeated adultery it proves adultery does not break the marriage bond.

Another place where the Greek word "porneia" is modified to exclude adultery is in Revelation 17. where  again it is "fornication" not including adultery, as the Whore of Babylon is not married to God. There is no ancient Greek word that means premarital sex only. The avalanche or tidal wave of adultery sweeping through modern churches is due largely because dunce scholars, not guided by Faith, have chosen the heretical Alexandrian manuscripts over the Textus Receptus Greek manuscripts, and sealed their foolishness by then misinterpreting "porneia" in Matthew 5:32 as such things as "except for sexual immorality" or "unless she has been unfaithful".

If I am teaching error on this subject by being too strict I deserve nothing other than everlasting Hell, as being too strict is just as serious as being too lax, getting it wrong can ruin lives, including the lives of any children, and shipwreck souls. Galatians 5:19-21 makes it very clear indeed you cannot get "the works of the flesh" wrong as a teacher. I say this as some heretical teachers of adultery believe they cannot possibly go to Hell if they profess Jesus, and are Antinomianist as well as teachers of licentiousness.

False teachers on this subject seem to have missed the preoccupation of men throughout the centuries wanting to marry a virgin, in just about all countries, cultures and religions. In the Middle Ages in England there was "The Law of the False Virgin" set up as secular law. to guard against fraudulent claims of virginity.

It is extremely serious to preach lax views on divorce and remarriage because:

1) In Acts 15 God makes it plain in the new and better covenant law he ditches huge numbers of old, draconian ceremonial laws and food laws in favour of emphasising two things, to avoid sexual sins and idolatry.

2) Many scriptures make it plain that unrepentant adultery will result in a lot eternity, that is going to Hell forever, such as Revelation 21:8 and Galatians 5:19-21.

3) Adultery by unbiblical second marriage is heresy, as well as adultery.

DIVORCE TEACHINGS.

Ultra Lax.

The following heresy is so lax, and so extremely heretical and dangerous, I do not want to name one of the teachers out there who teach such utter nonsense, as I think they will inevitably try to squirm out of it later. having proved themselves liars already by holding such ultra lax views.

There are two views of porneia

1) That porneia involves more than one person physically involved in the sin,

2) That porneia, because the broad meaning is "sexual immorality" includes looking at pornography, and masturbation (with or without pornography)

If a teacher adopts 2 as the meaning (with no context modifying the word) then he proposes a person can legitimately remarry, not only for adultery, incest, homosexual acts, prostitution, bestiality etc (all involving physical contact with another) but that a person can legitimately divorce and remarry if their spouse looks at pornography, or commits sexual self abuse (masturbation). This is a quite incredibly lax view on reasons to divorce and marry again. It is comparable in its naivety in my opinion to people being stupid, naive and prudish enough to think  "sex  is for procreation only" thus all sex must stop after a woman passes child bearing. However I could post here videos from youtube where obscure teachers say Christians can divorce and remarry for this.
